Golden Triangle Tour Duration : 04 Nights / 05 Days Destinations Covered : Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur - Delhi Day 01 : Arrive Delhi After breakfast take sightseeing tour of historic city visiting Old Delhi visiting the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Raj Ghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk, Later New Delhi to include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families; Humayun's Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai's Temple , Qutub Minar , built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty. Return to the hotel for overnight at the hotel. Day 02 : Delhi - Agra - 3.5 hrs Morning drive to Agra, arrival check into Hotel. Later proceed to visit Agra Fort & Taj Mahal. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 03 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur - 5 hrs Morning drive to ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri (ghost capital) for a tour of the magnificent and world heritage buildings still in a state of perfect preservation. We continue our journey for Jaipur and upon arrival check into Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 04 : Jaipur After breakfast visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a super example of Rajput (Medieval Hindu) style architecture. An elephant ride takes you to the top of the Fort and till main entrance, which houses several graceful buildings. Afternoon - tour of City Palace and Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The Palace of winds - a five storied structure of pink sandstone, was originally built to enable the ladies of the royal house to watch everyday life. Day 05 : Jaipur - Delhi - 5 hrs Morning in time transfer Delhi. |
